The XII meeting of PhD students at IAS-CSIC discussed vegetative barriers and hedgerows

TUdi participated in the XII meeting of PhD students at IAS-CSIC by giving a presentation on the usage of vegetative barriers and hedgerows to control soil erosion under different environmental conditions. The event was held on 29 June 2022 in a hybrid format, where participants could either attend at the Meeting Room of the Main Building of the IAS-CSIC in Córdoba, Spain or online via Zoom.

The meeting was split into two parts. The first part consisted of four blocks of short presentations carried out by the IAS by PhD students, among whom TUdi early career researchers, who discussed topics such as the impact of microplastics in soil-plant systems, diversification of crops to control biotic stress in legumes and many more. 

After the presentations, the attendants participated in an online game of answering questions using the QUIZIZZ tool.
