TUdi welcomes new PhD student

We are glad to announce that Octavian Puiu Chiriac, a PhD student from the University of Turin, has officially joined the project on 1 November 2022.

He will be involved in WP2 Farm management tools for soil health where he will focus on the use of long-term data to test and validate the fertilisation decision-support tool. 

Octavian’s experience on the project will be of great help with his research topic “Analysis and development of algorithms to calculate the nutrient requirement in various cropping systems”.
