The Institute for Sustainable Agriculture is looking for candidate for a full-time position for a 4-year contract as project manager for an H2020 project which started in July 1st 2021.
The project: “Transforming Unsustainable management of soils in key agricultural systems in EU and China. Developing an integrated platform of alternatives to reverse soil degradation” is a project with fifteen partners between the EU and China and is aimed to develop new strategies for reversing soil degradation, while developing tools to allow its implementation as farm level.
It will be coordinated by the Institute for Sustainable Agriculture (IAS-CSIC), located in Cordoba (Southern Spain). IAS-CSIC is one of the leading institutes of agricultural research in Spain, with a large network of international collaborations.
The project is looking for a candidate to be based in Cordoba with the duties of providing support to the project leading the project office (which will lead non-technical matters) and also support to the data management, and dissemination and coordination of some technical activities among the partners.
Experience in administrative support of research projects and fluency in English is required. Other skills that will be valued will be some technical knowledge of soils and/or agronomy, and on data management for scientific repositories.
