The European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly serves as an annual gathering, drawing scientists across diverse geoscience domains to showcase their research, foster idea exchange, and delve into the latest field advancements. At EGU 24, the TUdi project notably sponsored the session on "Processes and strategies of soil restoration, conservation, and fertilization" within the Soil System Science division. The session flourished with the active participation of scientists hailing from Asia, America, and Europe, contributing to its success through 19 oral presentations, 12 on-site posters, and 10 virtual posters.
A noteworthy aspect of this session was the robust involvement of Early Career Scientists, constituting 73% of the participants. Their presence not only underscored the significance of the topic but also enriched discussions by sharing their diverse research perspectives with experts from various disciplines. This collaborative environment extended beyond the TUdi project's partnership between Chinese and European entities, encompassing interactions with researchers engaged in different scientific endeavours.
