100 people attend the TUdi soil conference in Valencia

Dr. José A. Gómez, TUdi coordinator, organized a soil health conference at the Desertification Research Center of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), in Valencia, on February 4.

The event was held in Spanish and titled “Efecto de cubiertas vegetales sobre balance de agua en cultivos leñosos Mediterráneos frente a manejo con suelo desnudo y perspectivas ante escenarios de cambio climático” ("Effect of plant covers on water balance in Mediterranean woody crops compared to management with bare soil and perspectives in climate change scenarios").

Results presented at the conference came from research that will be further developed within the TUdi project.

Around 100 participants attended the event both in person and online.
